Do you have any ideas?

It’s funny how life works when you live in free country like that of the United States of America. After you leave school, for whatever reason, you spent your young adult life in the pursuit of the almighty dollar, trying to advance yourself and family beyond the level your parents were able to provide for you growing up in this country. At that time you were too busy to realize how the political system affected our daily life. It isn’t until your life is slowed by age or disability and you only have a limited income, do you understand how the system is working against your freedom and the future of this great country. We are becoming a nation of lazy, over taxed; overweight people who expect this country to provide every means of our daily life.

It seems that our politicians understand this! They are voted into office, with the likelihood that they will be in office for life, with great benefits, an outstanding salary, and living the highlife off the taxpayer’s ignorance. They are willing to vote themselves a salary increase while taking away the livelihood of the American people, believing the average person wants the government to control their lives more than a person wants the freedom to control their own life.

The President of this great country, once elected, seems to abandon the American people to advance bills to cut individual freedoms. This is done by reaching across party lines and compromising our freedoms for the good of the country, or is it? They have made up their minds to devalue our money, globalize our economy and limit our ability to build on the free enterprise system. Let’s find a President who won’t compromise our freedoms and move this great country forward!

Have the people and the politicians forgotten that our forefathers fought off the most powerful country of their time to give us three of the greatest statements of human liberty ever written: The Bill of Rights; The Declaration of Independence and The United States Constitution. Read these great statements then stand back and look at the United States today. Most of the rules passed by the Congress and signed by the President of the United States; do not closely resemble those great statements, which built the greatest nation in the world. Have they forgotten that we, the public, have certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!

What I am trying to communicate I guess is this. If you study history, back in the 1920’s, this country was outraged when the Communist Manifesto was published, now seems to be the direction this country is heading. Why are the people of this country letting this happen! This is a great nation and we have to stop the destruction our freedoms which this country was founded.

 

I am not proposing that we return to the way of life back in the 1700’s. Our great civil society was built with a point of law, but we need to leverage the influence the government has on our principles. Each of us needs to be responsible for the teaching of the up-and-coming leaders of this great nation. In the words of The Heritage Foundation, we need commitment to building an America where freedom, opportunity, prosperity, and civil society flourish. How do we do this?

The Declaration of Independence states in part, talking about our Freedoms; That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Note:  Absolutely no one gives us any ideas what we should do !! Do you have any ideas?
